This is my fifth year as a 4th grade teacher at Dupo. Prior to coming to Dupo I taught 1st grade in Jacksonville, Illinois for 2 years. However, I love teaching Social Studies and I work hard to make it come to life!
I was born and raised in Millstadt, Illinois across from Eckert's Apple Orchard. I moved back home 6 years ago and my husband, John, and I built a house on my family's 40 acres. We have a daughter named Kaylee and I love being so close to all my family!
In my spare time I like to read, shop, swim, boat and anything else water related. My favorite vacationing spots are Kentucky Lake and Table Rock Lake. I also enjoy scrapbooking when I can find the spare time. My favorite music is country, but I love to listen to Steve and DC in the mornings. My favorite music groups are Alabama and Dixie Chicks. I also love to collect Cherished Teddies figurines.
