In Reading, we are starting the story Charlotte's Web, which we will finish by the end of the week.  The students have also been given Reading Counts books.  I am expecting 5 points a week from each student.  This is usually one book a week and a passed test.

 

In English, we are now working on verbs, action, helping, etc.

 

In Writing, we are going to begin topic sentences, body of the paragraph and concluding sentences.  This is an ongoing process.

I hope to have the students writing full paragraphs by the end of October.
